How Rapid Repairs helps you.

  • How much do repairs/recoveries cost?
    • Data Recovery: $15  inspection + $75 hourly
    • General Repairs: $15 inspection + $50 hourly
  • Data Recovery

    Once we receive your data , we will notify you informing you that we will begin working on the data. We will try our best to get the drive to function properly. If we are unable to get the drive to function, we will contact you via email and explain the next steps, which is typically purchasing a new storage drive, which will allow us to clone the drive. If we determine that your drive is not salvageable, we will email you and have your data shipped back to you.

  • Getting your computer/data to us:

    Once you describe your issue and pay the $15 initial inspection and diagnosis fee, you will automatically receive a confirmation email notifying you that we have received your order and it is in the works. Within 24 hours following your receival of the confirmation email, you will receive an email from our support team notifying you that we are ready for your computer. In that email, we will provide you with information on when and where to ship your computer.

  • How long will it take for Rapid Repairs to receive my computer/data?

    This will solely rely on your method of shipment, the weight of your computer, and also your computer's size. You are responsible for paying for your computer to be shipped to us. Whether you choose the fastest method of shipment, or simply the standard option. We recommend you choose the fastest shipment method possible so we can receive your computer quickly and have it back to you quickly. However, we know that shipping can be pricey, so your shipping method is your choice, as we are happy to repair your computer regardless of how long it takes to get to us.

  • What happens when Rapid Repairs receives my computer/data?

    Our support team will notify you immediately once we receive your product. Once we have diagnosed the issue, our support team will provide a cost estimate and time frame via email. If you are unsatisfied with the cost or time frame, we will fully refund the inspection fee and ship your computer back free of cost, unless you desire a shipment method other than standard. Please note that we will not begin repairing your computer until you contact us and approve/disapprove the cost and time frame.

  • Part Replacement:

    In the event that we receive your computer and decide that a component is broken and needs to be replaced, you will be responsible for purchasing said part and shipping it to us. We understand that parts can be difficult to acquire in a timely manner during COVID-19, therefore our support team will happily assist you with finding the most cost-efficient way to receive your parts in a timely manner.

  • How will I receive my data or repaired computer?

    Once we have successfully repaired your computer or recovered your data, our customer support team will contact you via email and notify you that your computer is ready for shipment. In this email, we will contact you with all of the possible shipment methods, their cost, and time frame. We will pay for the standard shipment method, which often takes 1-3 business days for you to receive. If you would like a faster shipment method, you will be responsible for the cost. You will be billed for said shipping through the invoice with all other repair costs. 

  • How will I be billed for my repair/recovery?

    Once we have completed your repair, you will receive an invoice via email from our support team.

  • What if I am unsatisfied with my repair/recovery?

    If you are unsatisfied with the cost or time frame of our services, we will return your computer to you free of any additional cost, and you will be refunded the initial inspection cost. Please note that if you agree to the time frame and cost of our services, the inspection fee will no longer be refundable.

  • What is "standard shipping"?

    We will use USPS priority mail as standard shipping for your product. This cost will be covered by Rapid Repairs, and the usual time frame for receival is 1-3 business days.
